What You’ll Do

The Account Executive is responsible for providing clients with the best solutions available to achieve their digital transformation goals while obtaining leads, managing accounts and closing deals which contribute to and help surpass sales / gross margin targets.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop account plans and opportunity strategies.
  • Develop and qualify business opportunities within HighVail’s core business competency of digital transformation, professional services, and consulting.
  • Collaborate with and effectively leverage HighVail’s internal resources including Inside Sales Representatives, Technical Staff, and Management throughout the sales cycle.
  • Prospect and develop sales opportunities via on-going face-to-face activities including leveraging your existing relationships and HighVail’s partners.
  • Participate in vendor and partner events as well as sales campaigns from time to time to develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop good working relationships with HighVail’s vendors, partners, clients, and employees.
  • Present clients with well-designed and customized proposals, business cases, technical and financial solutions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing partner education and certification programs to keep abreast of new technologies as they pertain to HighVail’s client base.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual gross margin targets.
  • Take part in weekly sales meetings and keep management abreast of all key account activities.
  • Lead strategy and account planning sessions.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records about leads, prospects, clients and sales opportunities using Dynamics CRM tool.
  • Maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual gross margin targets.
  • Other tasks as required

What We Are Looking For

Minimum of 5 years as an outbound business development sales representative in the IT field, preferably software and/or consulting

An understanding of digital transformation (Cloud, DevOps, XaaS, etc), IT Operations Management, and Automation

Relationships with senior level leaders within FP1000 companies

Self-starters who are motivated to get the job done

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Mature, personable, friendly, and can work productively in a dynamic, progressing and growing environment

A people-person and team player, able to collaborate and leverage HighVail and partner resources to win deals

Personable, mature, time-conscious and extremely concerned about client satisfaction.

Professional attitude and appearance
